Features of internal circlip pliers
Precision-turned tips

50CrV chrome vanadium steel

Nickel-plated surface

Difference between straight and bent pliers
Straight pliers are used for working with circlips fitted in easily accessible locations, where the axis of the tool can be parallel to the axis of the bore. Bent (angled) pliers are used in hard-to-reach locations where an angled approach is required. Before purchasing, check the accessibility of the circlip installation location.
Use and maintenance
Before using the pliers, check the condition of the tips – they should be free from mechanical damage and signs of wear. During use, hold the pliers perpendicular to the surface of the circlip to prevent the tips from slipping out of the mounting holes.
After use, clean the tool of any dirt and protect the tips with a thin layer of oil, particularly when storing in conditions of high humidity. Regular lubrication of the pivot mechanism prolongs smooth operation of the pliers.
Do not use the pliers as a lever or for tasks for which they were not designed. Exceeding the permissible load may cause permanent deformation of the tips or damage to the spring mechanism.
