KD1245 LED Head Torch
The KD1245 head torch is a head-mounted lighting device fitted with a Cree T6 COB LED — a solution designed for hands-free work. The aluminium and ABS housing provides mechanical durability, while the IPX45 water resistance rating allows use in demanding weather conditions.
Product features
Cree T6 COB LED
COB (Chip on Board) technology combines multiple LED chips in a single module, which translates into an even, wide field of illumination. The Cree T6 LED sits in the high-efficiency segment, combining high light output with a low current draw from the batteries.
Water and shock resistance
An IPX45 rating means protection against water sprays from any direction and against splashing. The aluminium and ABS housing absorbs mechanical shocks, reducing the risk of damage from a drop or during work in the field.
Adjustable two-plane headband
The elastic headband adjusts to the circumference of the head and holds the torch securely on two planes — horizontal and vertical. This prevents the torch from slipping during dynamic activities such as running, climbing or technical work.
Four lighting modes
The high and low modes let you match the light output to the conditions and extend battery runtime. The strobe is useful for signalling or disorienting, while the SOS mode produces a standard distress signal recognised in emergency situations.

Note on the "Magnification 1x–2000x" parameter

Use and maintenance
The KD1245 head torch is powered by 18650 batteries — before first use, make sure the batteries are charged and fitted correctly according to the polarity markings in the battery compartment. 18650 batteries require a dedicated charger (not included unless stated otherwise).
After use in damp or muddy conditions, wipe the housing with a dry cloth and check that the seals are intact. The IPX45 rating protects against splashing and water sprays, but does not mean the torch is resistant to immersion. The headband can be cleaned with a damp cloth — do not wash it in a washing machine.
