Single-Phase Petrol Generator 1.5/1.7 kW Kraft&Dele KD3142
The KD3142 is a portable single-phase petrol generator with a 4-stroke OHV engine, designed to supply 230 V electrical equipment in locations without access to the mains. Its open-frame design keeps the unit compact and easy to transport.
Technical features
4-stroke OHV engine with chrome-plated piston
An overhead-valve (OHV) layout improves the engine's thermal efficiency and lowers fuel consumption compared with side-valve engines. The chrome-plated piston is more resistant to wear, which translates into a longer service life for the engine under regular use.
Smart Throttle technology
The system automatically adjusts engine speed to suit the current electrical load. At low power draw the engine speed is reduced, which cuts fuel consumption and noise levels. As the load increases, engine speed returns to its rated value, maintaining a stable output voltage.
Rubber stabilisers and engine mounts
Vibration-damping components fitted between the engine and the frame reduce the transfer of vibration to the ground and to the operator. This is of practical benefit when the generator is running in enclosed spaces or on unstable ground on a building site.
Voltmeter and 12 V DC output
The built-in voltmeter lets you read the voltage generated by the unit as it runs, with no need for external measuring instruments. The 12 V DC output allows car batteries to be charged or low-voltage devices to be powered directly from the generator.

How to match generator output to your appliances
The rated power of 1.5 kW defines the load at which the generator can run continuously. The maximum power of 1.7 kW is available only briefly — for example when electric motors start up, as they draw several times more current at start-up than in normal operation. Before connecting appliances, add up their rated power and make sure it does not exceed 1.5 kW, and that the peak starting demand stays within 1.7 kW.

They are not suitable for use in the rain without an additional cover.
