The KEHUA SPI50K-B is a three-phase grid-tied inverter designed for commercial and industrial 50 kW solar PV installations. It features two independent MPPT trackers, integrated AC/DC surge protection and multi-channel remote communication, making it suitable for both ground-mounted systems and rooftop installations on commercial buildings.
Two separate maximum power point tracking circuits allow strings of panels with different orientations or tilt angles to be connected and optimised independently. As a result, losses caused by partial shading or differing exposure angles do not affect the whole system at the same time.
An IP65 rating means the enclosure is completely dust-tight and resistant to water jets, allowing outdoor installation without an additional housing. Integrated AC and DC surge protection removes the need to fit external surge arrestors on either side of the installation.
The built-in current-voltage (I&V) curve diagnostics module automatically detects and locates PV modules operating outside specification — with no need for manual measurements on the roof. This shortens servicing time and allows a rapid response in the event of panel degradation or damage.
All electronic components have been selected to industrial standards, which translates into the full 25-year life cycle declared by the manufacturer. This matters when calculating the return on investment for commercial installations, where the cost of replacing an inverter is a significant item in the operating budget.
The inverter supports an extended grid voltage range and features Low Voltage Ride-Through (LVRT) — the ability to keep operating during brief drops in grid voltage without disconnecting the installation. This requirement is increasingly imposed by distribution network operators for installations above a dozen or so kW.
Support for RS485, Wi-Fi and GPRS interfaces enables integration with monitoring systems both on local networks and over the mobile network in locations without a permanent internet connection. Remote firmware updates allow fixes and new features to be applied without a service visit to the site.

Detailed technical data, DC voltage ranges, MPPT input parameters and wiring and installation requirements are set out in the manufacturer's datasheet, available as an attachment to this product.
Before selecting an inverter for an installation, the requirements of the local distribution network operator (DNO) regarding power, power quality parameters and the LVRT function must be verified. The SPI50K-B meets the THDi requirement of below 3%, which Polish DNOs require as standard for installations connected to medium- and low-voltage networks.
