An extension lead with five Schuko sockets and a switch. A solution for workstations that need several devices connected at once while keeping the layout flexible.
Three sockets set at an angle allow larger power supply units to be plugged in without blocking the neighbouring sockets. The remaining two sockets follow the standard layout.
The cable length allows the extension lead to be placed up to 5 m from the wall socket, which is useful in larger rooms or where equipment is positioned away from the electrical installation.
A built-in switch lets you cut the power to all connected devices without pulling the plug out of the socket. A useful function for switching equipment off completely while it is in standby mode.
The IP20 rating means protection against access by objects larger than 12.5 mm in diameter. The extension lead is intended for indoor use in dry rooms only.

Before connecting devices, check their total power draw. Standard domestic extension leads are protected for a maximum of 16A (approx. 3680W at 230V). This value must not be exceeded. The IP20 rating means the extension lead must not be used in damp rooms, outdoors or in locations exposed to splashing water. The cable should be fully unwound under heavy loads to avoid overheating.
Standard power strips have their sockets arranged parallel to the housing. This causes problems when plugging in power supply units with wide casings – they often block the neighbouring sockets. A 45° layout increases the spacing between plugs and allows all sockets to be used even with larger power supplies. On the K00246C-C, three sockets use this layout, which provides flexibility across different equipment configurations.
