Internal knob — keyless operation
On the inside of the door, the cylinder is fitted with a turning knob. This lets you open or close the lock quickly without reaching for a key — a particularly practical solution when you frequently leave a flat or office.
Aluminium body
The cylinder body is made from aluminium, which keeps the weight low while maintaining adequate structural rigidity. Aluminium is corrosion-resistant, extending the product's service life in varying humidity conditions.
Brass pin tumbler mechanism

How do I choose the right cylinder size?
The 30g/50 designation means the cylinder measures 30 mm on the inside (knob side) and 50 mm on the outside (key side). Before buying, measure the distance from the centre of the fixing screw to each edge of the existing cylinder, or the thickness of the door leaf together with its furniture. The cylinder should protrude no more than 3 mm beyond the lock escutcheon — a greater protrusion reduces resistance to snapping.

Installation and use
The cylinder is secured with a standard M5 screw passing through the lock body — the fixing screw is included. Before installation, check that the cylinder size matches the hole spacing in the lock (typically 72 mm or 85 mm between centres). Replacing the cylinder does not require dismantling the whole lock — simply undo the fixing screw and slide out the old cylinder after turning the key to the 0 position.
The mechanism does not require regular lubrication under standard operating conditions. If you notice resistance when turning the key or knob, apply a small amount of spray graphite lubricant into the keyway — avoid oil-based lubricants, which attract dirt and can clog the mechanism.
