Kraft&Dele KD11294 Diamond Disc Set
A complete set of seven diamond discs for grinding and polishing hard building materials — porcelain tiles, stone, granite, marble and ceramics. The set comprises a hook-and-loop backing pad with a foam layer and an M12 adapter that allows fitting to various machine types.
Set features
Full range of grits
Seven discs with grits from 50 to 3000 allow a complete working process — from coarse grinding (50–200) through surface levelling (400–800) to finishing polish (1500–3000). This means there is no need to buy separate sets for different stages of the job.
Diamond coating
The diamond grains embedded in the surface of the disc are considerably harder than materials such as granite, porcelain tiles or ceramics. This translates into even abrasion without the risk of the abrasive particles scratching the substrate, and into a longer disc life compared with corundum tools.
Backing pad with foam layer
The foam layer between the backing pad and the disc dampens vibration transmitted from the machine to the surface being worked. The result is more even grinding and a lower risk of vibration marks, which is particularly important when working on decorative stone and ceramic tiles.
Compatibility with different machines
The M12 thread allows direct mounting on an angle grinder or polishing machine. The supplied adapter also lets you use the set with a drill or drill/driver fitted with variable speed control. Speed control is recommended — too high a speed can overheat the material or shorten the life of the disc.

Usage recommendations
For work with diamond discs, machines with variable speed control are recommended. This allows the speed to be matched to the grit and the type of material — lower speeds for the polishing grits 1500–3000, higher speeds for coarse grinding with grits 50–200. Dry working is possible, but water cooling extends the life of the discs and reduces dust. Before first use, make sure the M12 thread of the machine matches the thread of the backing pad or adapter.
