The KD1726 electric polisher is a rotary machine designed for polishing painted surfaces, sanding metal and wood, and finishing work on materials of varying shapes. The 2600W motor and adjustable speed range make it easy to match the tool's performance to the requirements of the material and the type of work involved.
The 2600W motor maintains a constant speed even when firmer pressure is applied to the surface. This delivers a consistent polishing result without the risk of the pad stalling when working on harder materials.
The wide speed range lets you work on delicate paintwork (low speeds, less risk of overheating the surface) as well as on intensive sanding of metal or wood (higher speeds, greater output). Speed control is stepless, which makes it easy to set the parameters precisely.
A diameter of 180 mm is a compromise size — large enough to cover flat bodywork or furniture surfaces efficiently, yet small enough to work in areas with limited access, such as sills or around mirrors.
At 2600W, a weight of 2.5 kg places the tool among the lighter rotary polishers. This reduces fatigue during longer sessions, particularly when working on vertical surfaces or ceilings.

KD1726 polisher, 180 mm polishing pad, special spanner for fitting the pad, original packaging.
When working on car paintwork and surfaces prone to overheating, it is advisable to start at lower speeds (500–1500 RPM) and increase them gradually depending on the result. Sanding metal and wood usually calls for higher speeds (2500–3800 RPM). The type and hardness of the polishing compound also affect the optimum speed range — compound manufacturers usually state recommended speeds on the packaging.
