The KD2070 is a garden hose designed for conveying and pumping water. Its four-layer construction and soft rubber compound cover provide mechanical and thermal resistance in typical garden and utility applications.
The multi-layer hose cross-section increases resistance to internal pressure and to mechanical damage arising during everyday use — dragging across surfaces, crushing or being run over by a wheelbarrow wheel.
The outer layer of flexible rubber compound protects the hose against abrasion and loss of sealing. The material remains soft and pliable even at low temperatures, which makes work easier in early spring and late autumn.
The hose maintains full water flow when working around corners and in hard-to-reach places. It removes the need to straighten the hose every time the watering direction changes.
This parameter defines the limits of safe use. The upper limit of +50°C corresponds to the water temperature in a hose exposed to sunlight in summer. The lower limit of -10°C applies to storage — the hose should be drained before frost.

A 3/4" diameter is the standard widely used in garden irrigation systems. Fittings, spray guns, sprinklers and splitters marked 3/4" fit this hose directly, with no need for adaptors. Before buying accessories, check the marking on the packaging or in the product specification.
At the end of the season the hose should be drained completely — water left inside freezes at temperatures below 0°C and may cause the walls to split. Store the hose coiled in a cool, shaded place, away from heat sources and direct sunlight, which speeds up the ageing of the rubber. During use, avoid dragging the hose over sharp edges and leaving it under tension for prolonged periods.
