KD3487 20W Mini LED Work Light
The KD3487 is a compact 20W LED work light designed for fixed or mobile mounting on vehicles, machinery and installations powered by a 9–40V DC supply. Its combination of small dimensions (84 × 84 × 19 mm) and a high 9,000 lm luminous flux makes it useful wherever mounting space is limited but lighting requirements are high.

CHIP 2835 LEDs — efficiency and durability
The light is fitted with 28 SMD 2835 diodes. This arrangement offers a favourable ratio of power to emission area, which translates into even light distribution and reduced heating at the individual diode points. The 6,000K colour temperature (cool white) delivers high contrast — important when assessing wire colours, material damage or machine markings.
Wide 9–40 V DC voltage range
Support for voltages from 9 V to 40 V DC allows the light to run from 12 V systems (cars, quad bikes), 24 V systems (lorries, construction machinery) and non-standard supplies up to 40 V. This removes the need for voltage converters and simplifies installation across different types of vehicle and equipment.
IP65 ingress protection
The IP65 rating indicates complete protection against dust (first digit 6) and resistance to water jets from any direction (second digit 5). The light can operate outdoors in the rain, in dusty production halls, near car washes or on construction sites without risk of damage to the optical system or the electronics.
Aluminium housing with PC lens
The aluminium body acts as a heat sink, dissipating the heat generated by the diodes, which directly affects the service life of the entire LED module. The polycarbonate (PC) lens resists impacts and scratches while transmitting light with minimal flux loss.

How to check supply voltage compatibility
Before installation, measure the voltage of the vehicle's or equipment's electrical system under load. 12 V systems can briefly reach 14.4 V while the battery is charging, and 24 V systems up to 28.8 V. The KD3487's operating range (9–40 V DC) covers both standards with headroom, with no need for additional voltage regulators.
Use and maintenance
The aluminium housing requires no additional anti-corrosion treatment under standard operating conditions. The polycarbonate lens can be cleaned with a damp cloth — avoid abrasive cleaning agents, which can scratch the surface and reduce light transmission. When mounting on a vehicle, make sure the cable connection on the installation side is properly sealed, as the IP65 rating applies to the light itself, not to the connecting cables.
