5-Socket 3m Extension Lead KD4013
The KD4013 extension lead is a power strip with five sockets and a 3m cable, fitted with an overload switch and child safety shutters. The body is made from fire-retardant materials and the wiring is copper, ensuring stable operation when several devices are connected at once.

Fire-retardant body
The housing is made from fire-retardant materials, which reduces the risk of a fire starting if the unit overheats or short-circuits. This matters when the lead is used for long periods in places that are hard to reach, such as behind furniture.
Copper wiring
Copper conductors offer low resistance and high corrosion resistance. In practice this means a stable current supply with no voltage drop, even under a heavy load from several sockets at the same time.
Overload switch
It cuts the power automatically once the permitted current load is exceeded. This protects connected devices from damage and prevents the wiring from overheating. After the overload has been removed, the switch can be reset by hand.
Child safety shutters
The sockets are fitted with shutters that block access to the contacts unless a plug is inserted. The mechanism requires force to be applied at two points at once, which stops a child from opening it by accident.
