The L-type crank handle is an accessory for pneumatic and manual ratchets that transfers torque to 3/4-inch impact sockets. Its L-type design allows work in both vertical and horizontal positions, improving access to fasteners in confined spaces.
The 3/4" (19.05 mm) size is a standard in industrial applications and automotive workshops. It is compatible with impact sockets and ratchets with the same drive size. Check compatibility with your existing tooling before use.
The 370 mm arm provides sufficient leverage to undo tightly fastened joints without the need for extensions. This length allows adequate torque to be generated while maintaining manoeuvrability in typical workshop conditions.
Chrome vanadium steel alloy is characterised by increased hardness and resistance to plastic deformation. The addition of vanadium improves the material's fatigue strength, which matters under cyclic loading. Chrome plating protects the surface against atmospheric corrosion.
The L shape redirects torque transmission by 90 degrees. This allows work in both vertical and horizontal orientations without the operator changing body position. Useful for accessing fasteners fitted from above or from the side.

Before first use, check that the 3/4" square drive fits your sockets and ratchets. Axial play should not exceed 0.5 mm. Check that the ball locking mechanism (if fitted) holds the socket in the working position.
Use the crank handle for its intended purpose – undoing and tightening bolted joints. Do not use it as a lever to weigh or move heavy components. Do not extend the arm with pipes in order to increase torque – this may cause permanent deformation or cracking.
After use, clean the surface of dirt and oil. Store in a dry place protected from moisture. Periodically check the condition of the chrome plating – coating defects can lead to corrosion of the base metal. When working in a chemically aggressive environment, use protective preparations.
When working with hand tools, wear protective gloves to guard against mechanical injury. When working on components under mechanical load (springs, tensioned parts), wear safety goggles. Keep a stable body position to avoid losing balance if the joint suddenly comes loose.
