A 2-inch layflat hose designed for water transfer in garden, construction and industrial applications. The woven canvas construction provides mechanical strength while remaining flexible.
A material woven from natural or synthetic fibres provides resistance to abrasion and mechanical damage. The woven structure allows partial flexibility while maintaining dimensional stability under pressure.
An internal bore of approximately 50 mm allows a flow of up to 150–200 litres of water per minute, depending on pressure. This parameter matters when pumping large volumes of water on construction sites and in industry.
The canvas material is resistant to UV radiation, which allows it to be stored outdoors. The operating temperature range is typically from -10°C to +60°C, depending on the manufacturer's specific specification.
The hose is factory-fitted with couplings, which eliminates the need for additional assembly. STORZ or threaded couplings are typically used, ensuring a leak-tight connection to pumps and hydrants.

The hose should be stored coiled, away from sharp edges. After use, it should be emptied of water, which prevents freezing in winter and extends the service life of the material. Storing it in a place sheltered from direct sunlight further increases its durability.
Before each use, check the condition of the couplings and the entire length of the hose for cracks, scuffing or mechanical damage. Make sure the couplings are correctly fitted and show no signs of corrosion. A damaged hose can lead to uncontrolled leaks or loss of pressure.
Do not exceed the maximum working pressure specified by the manufacturer. Avoid sudden pressure surges, which can damage the fabric structure. When working with high-capacity pumps, match the pumping parameters to the capabilities of the hose.
