Features of the VOREL 78592 letterbox
0.6 mm galvanised steel sheet
The galvanised coating protects the steel against corrosion, which extends the service life of the letterbox when used outdoors. The 0.6 mm thickness gives the structure rigidity and resistance to mechanical deformation.
Lockable door
The cylinder lock with two keys supplied protects the contents against access by unauthorised persons. The locking mechanism allows post to be posted freely through the letter slot without opening the door.
Additional newspaper compartment
A separate compartment intended for magazines and newspapers in larger formats. It allows post to be sorted and protects printed material against loss or damage.
Fixing holes in the rear panel
The prepared fixing points make installation on a wall, brickwork or a garden post easier. Fitting requires suitable wall plugs and screws matched to the substrate.

Installation information
The letterbox must be fixed to a stable surface using bolts or screws (not supplied). It is recommended to mount it at a height that allows convenient access to the door and easy posting of letters through the slot. Before installation, check the level and make sure the fixing holes are correctly positioned.
Maintenance and use
Galvanised sheet steel is corrosion-resistant, but if the coating is damaged, protection with anti-corrosion paint is recommended. The lock should be lubricated periodically with a maintenance product to keep it working smoothly. The inside of the letterbox should be cleaned regularly to remove dust and leaves.
If the keys are lost, the lock can be replaced with a new one of standard fitting dimensions. Before purchase, it is worth checking that the dimensions are compatible with the cylinder locks available.
