A thin-wall socket designed for fitting and removing 14 mm spark plugs seated deep in the cylinder head. The extended 250 mm body and slim wall allow work in areas with limited access, where standard sockets cannot be used. The 3/8" drive works with common ratchets, extension bars and torque wrenches.
The slim walls of the socket allow work in the narrow spark plug recesses typical of modern multi-valve cylinder heads. Standard sockets with thicker walls may not fit into such openings.
The extended body reaches spark plugs set deep in the cylinder head ports — without the need for additional extension bars in most typical applications.
The 12-point socket makes it easier to seat the socket on the spark plug when visibility is limited, because it needs less rotation to align correctly than a 6-point profile. It transfers torque evenly.
The internal insert holds the spark plug flexibly inside the socket during fitting and removal. It eliminates the risk of dropping the plug into the engine bay or inside the cylinder head.
The CrV alloy offers increased hardness and resistance to deformation compared with carbon steel. This material is standard in hand tools intended for regular workshop use.
The 3/8" square drive fits a wide range of ratchets, torque wrenches and extension bars found in standard workshop equipment. This size offers a good compromise between compactness and torque transfer.

The spark plug socket size (14 mm) matches the size given in the vehicle's technical documentation or on the spark plug packaging. The 3/8" drive is standard for most workshop- and DIY-grade hand socket sets.
