Manual magnetic eyelet pliers designed for setting through eyelets in tarpaulins, advertising banners, textile and technical materials. The set includes 500 eyelets that are ready for immediate use. The tool requires neither a power supply nor any additional tools.
A magnet built into the head holds the eyelet firmly in position while it is being set. This removes the need to hold the component by hand, which reduces the risk of misalignment and speeds up work where large numbers of eyelets have to be set.
The steel body resists mechanical deformation during repeated use. A steel tool maintains a consistent head geometry, which translates into even setting of every eyelet.
Eyelets are set by hand pressure alone, with no need to connect the tool to mains power or compressed air. It can be used outdoors, on a building site, in a tent or in any other place without access to a power socket.
The grip is shaped to match the natural position of the hand, which reduces fatigue when working through a series of eyelets. This matters in particular when setting eyelets across large surfaces such as transport tarpaulins or large-format banners.

The KD12695 is suited to any task that requires a through eyelet to be securely set in a material, whether the application is technical, decorative or in clothing.
The eyelets supplied with the set have a fixed internal diameter, so before setting them make sure they match the holes prepared for them in the material. The thickness and type of fabric (for example PVC, polyester or canvas) affect the force needed to set an eyelet correctly. With thicker or multi-layer materials it is worth making a test setting on an offcut before starting the actual job.
