A manual drum pump designed for transferring engine, gear and hydraulic oil from 200-litre drums. A mechanical, crank-operated unit that transfers liquids without access to an electrical power supply.
A parameter defining the volume of oil transferred per minute at a standard crank speed. Transferring 200 litres from a drum takes around 10–12 minutes, making the unit an efficient solution for workshops and farms.
The hose length allows the bottom of a standard 200-litre drum to be reached and the outlet end to be moved freely. The material is resistant to contact with mineral and synthetic oils, preventing degradation during use.
Manual drive removes the need for a power source, enabling work in the field and in locations without access to electricity. The internal gearing reduces the torque required, limiting operator fatigue.
The pump is mounted directly into the standard 2" (50.8 mm) drum filler opening. The threaded or clamp system ensures stability during pumping and a tight seal on the suction side.
| Manufacturer | VOREL |
| Model | 78000 |
| Nominal flow rate | 19 l/min |
| Hose length | 150 cm |
| Drive type | Manual – crank mechanism |
| Application | Engine, gear and hydraulic oils |
| Mounting type | For 200 l drum opening |
Before mounting, make sure the drum opening is clean and free from contamination. Tighten the pump by hand or with a spanner as instructed, avoiding excessive force that could damage the thread. The end of the suction hose should reach to within 2–3 cm of the drum bottom.
Before starting to pump, turn the crank several times to fill the system and purge air. During operation, maintain a steady crank speed and avoid sudden movements. After use, drain the hose and collect any residual oil in a container.
After each use, wipe the external parts of the pump with a clean cloth. The crank mechanism requires periodic lubrication in accordance with the manufacturer's recommendations. Store the hose hung up or rolled, protecting it from kinks and mechanical damage.
