Hammer drill bit with an SDS Plus shank, designed for drilling into concrete, stone and brick. The 3-point technology ensures stable guidance and efficient debris removal when working with a rotary hammer.
A mounting system used on rotary hammers up to 5 kg. It allows quick tool changes without keys and locks the bit automatically in the chuck. The shank diameter is 10 mm, and the grooves transmit the hammer action.
The tip with three cutting faces increases the stability of the bit during use and reduces vibration. This design improves drilling accuracy and speeds up dust removal from the hole, which extends tool life.
A standard size for fitting M10 wall plugs, routing electrical cables in conduit, and securing profiles and battens. A hole of this diameter accommodates standard chemical and mechanical anchors.
The overall length of the bit allows holes with a working depth of around 150–160 mm, allowing for the length of the SDS Plus shank. Sufficient for concealed service installations and standard fixings in single-layer walls.

The drill bit works with rotary hammers fitted with an SDS Plus chuck. Before buying, check the chuck type on your tool – SDS Plus is the most common standard on power tools up to 1200 W. It does not fit SDS Max chucks (larger hammers) or standard keyless chucks.
Before drilling, check the position of electrical and water services with a metal detector. Drilling into concrete requires the hammer action on the rotary hammer to be switched on. Keep the drill bit perpendicular to the surface and avoid excessive pressure, which can cause overheating.
After use, clean concrete dust off the drill bit with compressed air or a brush. Periodically lubricate the grooves of the SDS Plus shank with graphite grease; this makes fitting and removal easier and protects against corrosion. Storing in a dry place prevents rusting.
For a 16 mm drill bit in concrete, the recommended rotation speed is 600–900 rpm at a hammer rate of 4,000–5,000 blows per minute. In harder materials, reduce the rotation speed and increase the pressure. Regularly withdrawing the drill bit from the hole helps clear debris and cool the tool.
