A masonry point chisel with a protective guard for heavy demolition and installation work in concrete and masonry. The working end is made from chrome-vanadium (CrV) steel with a milled point, and the 19 mm hex shank keeps the tool steady when struck with a hammer.
The chrome and vanadium alloy increases the hardness and wear resistance of the point. The material retains its mechanical properties during intensive use on hard building materials, minimising the risk of deformation and cracking.
The hexagonal cross-section prevents the tool from turning while it is being struck, which improves precision. The 19 mm size provides sufficient weight and rigidity to transfer the hammer's impact force effectively to the material being worked.
The guard protects the operator's hand from accidental hammer strikes and from flying fragments of material. The impact-resistant plastic does not crack under the mechanical loads encountered during use.
The blackening process creates a protective layer that guards the metal against corrosion. The blackened surface increases the tool's durability in damp site conditions.

Hold the chisel at right angles to the work surface and strike the top of the shank with a 0.5–1 kg hammer. The hexagonal profile prevents the tool from turning during chiselling. Safety goggles must be worn during work because of the risk of flying fragments.
Clean dust and debris from the tool after use. Check the condition of the point periodically – if it becomes blunt it can be resharpened on a grinder. Store in a dry place to prevent corrosion of the metal surfaces.
