An abrasive disc designed for cutting steel, non-ferrous metals and metal sections with angle grinders. The 180 mm diameter is suited to machines rated at 1800-2200 W.
A size matched to popular 1800-2200 W angle grinders. It provides a cutting depth of up to 60 mm depending on the angle of the cut. Compatible with most professional and semi-professional machines on the market.
A standard metal cutting disc thickness that balances durability against cutting speed. A thinner disc produces less waste and requires less machine power, while a thicker one offers greater stability when cutting thicker sections.
A universal bore size that complies with the ISO standard for angle grinders. Before buying, check the spindle diameter in the machine's specification – some models require reducing rings.
The disc is designed for cutting structural steel, steel sections, metal pipes and non-ferrous metals. The abrasive grain is selected for efficient material removal while maintaining control over the cut.

| Tool type | Abrasive cutting disc |
Before fitting the disc, check the angle grinder's manual for: the maximum disc diameter (must be at least 180 mm), the spindle diameter (22 mm as standard, less commonly 22.2 mm) and the maximum speed (stated on the disc in rpm). A mismatch of parameters can damage the disc or the machine.
Before starting work, check the condition of the disc – cracks, chipped edges or deformation mean the accessory must not be used. Fit the disc in line with the direction of rotation indicated by the arrow on its face. Apply even, moderate pressure while cutting – excessive pressure causes overheating and premature wear of the disc.
The maximum speed stated on the disc must not be exceeded – this applies in particular to powerful angle grinders. Personal protective equipment must be worn while working: safety glasses, work gloves and ear defenders. Sparks produced during cutting should be directed to a safe area, away from flammable materials.
The disc wears during use – once its diameter has decreased by around 10-15 mm or cutting efficiency has dropped noticeably, replace it with a new one. Discs should be stored in a dry place, away from sources of moisture, laid flat or hung.
