A nut driver with a durable handle is a workshop tool designed for fitting and removing fasteners in confined working spaces. Model YT-1548 combines a 12 mm socket with an extended 125 mm handle.
A material characterised by increased hardness and wear resistance. The chromium and vanadium alloy provides corrosion resistance and preserves mechanical properties under intensive use. CrV steel withstands higher torques than standard tool steel.
The 12 mm hex size corresponds to M8 bolts and nuts. The hex profile distributes force evenly across all edges of the fastener, minimising the risk of damaging the corners. The socket is made integrally with the handle, eliminating any possibility of separation.
The extended design provides access to fasteners in deep mounting recesses and in locations obstructed by other components. The 125 mm length represents a compromise between reach and the ability to apply adequate torque without excessive flex in the tool.
The contoured handle surface increases friction between the hand and the tool, allowing greater force to be transmitted without slipping. The shape reduces hand fatigue during repetitive assembly operations.

| Manufacturer | YATO |
| Socket size | 12 mm (hex) |
| Overall length | 125 mm |
| Material | Chrome vanadium steel (CrV) |
| Construction type | Nut driver with integral handle |
| Application | M8 bolts and nuts |
Before use, check that the 12 mm size matches the dimensions of the fastener. The socket should be fully seated on the hex of the bolt or nut. Play between the tool and the fastener leads to damaged corners and makes removal impossible.
Nut drivers with a handle have no torque control mechanism. When tightening safety-critical fasteners, use a torque wrench for the final tightening. Excessive force applied to the handle can damage the thread or deform the fastener.
After finishing work, clean the tool of dirt and chemical substances. The metal surface can be protected with a thin layer of maintenance oil. Storing it in a dry place prevents corrosion. Check the condition of the socket regularly – damaged internal edges mean the tool must be withdrawn from use.
