Offset ratchet handle with a 72-tooth ratchet mechanism and 3/8" drive. Made from chrome vanadium steel, it is designed for mechanical work that requires access in confined spaces.
Features of the YATO offset ratchet handle
72-tooth ratchet mechanism
A 72-tooth mechanism gives a working arc of 5 degrees. In practice this allows work in places where a full turn of the tool is not possible. The more teeth, the smaller the movement required to engage the mechanism.
Offset shaft profile
The offset shaft lets you work around obstacles and reach fasteners set in recesses or hidden behind other components. The design is particularly useful for work in the engine bay and for assembly in tight spaces.
3/8" drive
The 3/8" (9.5 mm) drive size is the standard for general-purpose applications. It is compatible with sockets from 6 mm to 24 mm, which covers most bolts and nuts used in automotive and industrial engineering.
Chrome vanadium steel

Socket compatibility

Use and maintenance
The ratchet mechanism requires periodic lubrication with grease or machine oil. The mechanism should be cleaned after use in dusty or damp environments. The direction switch should be set with the tool unloaded, never under load.
When working, match the socket length to the depth at which the bolt is seated. A socket that is too long can cause excessive flexing of the shaft and damage to the mechanism. The ratchet handle is intended for tightening and loosening — it must not be used as an impact wrench.
