An offset ring spanner with a 12-point working profile, designed for tightening and loosening 10 mm and 11 mm threaded fastenings. The tool is made from chrome vanadium steel and features the AS-Drive system, which delivers greater durability when working on heavily tightened fasteners.
An alloy characterised by increased hardness and resistance to mechanical wear. The addition of vanadium improves the material's fatigue strength, which translates into a longer tool life under intensive use in workshop conditions.
The design of the working profile ensures better distribution of force across the surface of the nut or bolt head. The system reduces the risk of damaging the edges of fasteners when working with high torque and also limits wear on the spanner itself.
A ring end with twelve points of contact allows work on hex nuts where movement is restricted – just 30° is enough to reposition the spanner. A useful solution in hard-to-reach places.
The chrome finish protects the steel against corrosion and makes the tool easier to clean. The satin treatment reduces glare during use, improving comfort under bright workshop lighting.

The 10 mm and 11 mm sizes are among the most commonly used in the automotive and general engineering sectors. Before starting work, check that the spanner size matches the nut – play or excessive pressure can damage the edges of the fastener. An offset spanner works well where a straight tool axis restricts access to the fastening.
Offset ring spanners made from chrome vanadium steel require basic maintenance. After use, clean the tool of dirt and dry it to prevent moisture accumulating. The chrome finish provides corrosion protection, but prolonged contact with aggressive chemicals can damage the coating.
When using the spanner, make sure the ring end is fully seated on the nut or bolt head. Incorrect alignment of the tool can cause it to slip and damage the edges of the fastener. For heavily tightened fastenings, apply penetrating oil before starting to loosen them.
