A glass cutter with an automatic oil lubrication system. Designed for the precise cutting of flat glass, stained glass and decorative pieces. Fitted with a movable tungsten carbide cutting wheel and a built-in oil reservoir.
Features of the glass cutter
Movable tungsten carbide cutting wheel
Tungsten carbide offers hardness close to that of diamond, which translates into a much longer wheel life than tool steel. The movable design allows the cutting angle to be set optimally relative to the glass surface, ensuring even scoring and clean edges.
Built-in lubricating oil reservoir
The automatic lubrication system feeds oil directly to the cutting zone, reducing friction between the wheel and the glass. This lowers resistance as the cutter is drawn along, extends wheel life and minimises the risk of the glass cracking away from the cutting line. The supplied bottle makes the reservoir easy to fill.
Ergonomic handle design
The handle has been shaped for prolonged use without hand fatigue. Well-balanced weight distribution and a grippy profile allow the cutter to be guided precisely along the cutting line, which is particularly important when producing intricate shapes in decorative glass.

Use and maintenance
Before use
Before first use, fill the reservoir with glass cutting oil using the supplied bottle. The oil should be intended specifically for this purpose – general-purpose oils are not recommended, as they can leave marks on the glass that are difficult to remove.
Cutting technique
When cutting, draw the cutter in an even movement along a ruler or template, keeping a constant angle and pressure. A correct cut should produce a distinctive sound and leave a thin, even score line. The glass breaks along the cutting line after a light pressure is applied from underneath.
Tool maintenance
After use, wipe the wheel clean of glass debris and oil with a soft cloth. Regularly checking the oil level in the reservoir prevents dry running, which shortens wheel life. Store the cutter in a dry place, protecting the wheel from mechanical damage.
