A universal workshop tool designed for removing oil filters on motor vehicles. The strap design adjusts automatically to the filter diameter and distributes the clamping force evenly.
The 60–105 mm diameter range covers most standard oil filters fitted to cars, vans and motorcycles. The strap adjusts automatically to the shape of the filter, so there is no need to keep a set of wrenches in different sizes.
The spring steel strap is flexible and resistant to permanent deformation. The self-tightening mechanism increases the grip force in proportion to the torque applied, which prevents the tool from slipping during use.
The aluminium body reduces the weight of the tool while maintaining adequate structural rigidity. The material is corrosion-resistant and will not damage the filter surface during removal.
The compact design allows work in the hard-to-reach areas typical of an engine bay. The strap wrapping around the filter takes up less space than cup-type or chain oil filter wrenches.

| Manufacturer | GEKO |
| Tool type | Oil filter strap wrench |
| Diameter range | 60–105 mm |
| Strap material | Spring steel |
| Body material | Aluminium |
| Mechanism | Self-tightening (grip force increases under load) |
Place the strap around the filter and feed the end of the strap into the wrench mechanism. Turning in the direction of removal tightens the strap around the filter. For tightly fitted filters, additional leverage can be applied to the body of the wrench.
After use, clean oil residue from the strap. Store in a dry place. Check the condition of the strap periodically — mechanical damage can reduce grip effectiveness.
Before purchase, measure the outer diameter of the oil filter on the vehicle. The diameter should fall within the 60–105 mm range. For filters with unusual shapes, check that the strap can wrap around the largest circumference of the housing.
