The KD10527 is an adjustable claw-type oil filter wrench designed for removing and fitting screw-on oil filters. The tool grips the filter from the outside with metal jaws, giving a secure hold even on seized or oil-caked housings. The 65–135 mm adjustment range covers most filters used in cars and commercial vehicles.
Smooth adjustment of the grip range lets you match the tool to filters of different diameters without changing the jaws. The 65–135 mm range covers most standard oil filters used in cars, vans and many commercial vehicles.
Two square drive sizes allow the wrench to be used with handles and ratchets from different tool kits. The 1/2" drive delivers higher torque, which is useful on stubborn filters, while the 3/8" drive is suited to areas with limited access.
The metal jaws bite into the outer surface of the filter housing and tighten as torque increases. This mechanism provides a secure grip even on oily or slightly deformed filters, where strap or cup-type wrenches may lose contact with the surface.
The wide adjustment range and robust construction make the tool suitable for both lightweight filters on petrol engines and the larger filters used on diesel engines in commercial vehicles and construction machinery.

Before use, measure the outside diameter of the fitted oil filter. If it falls within the 65–135 mm range, the KD10527 will fit. If in doubt, check the filter dimensions in the vehicle's technical documentation or on the filter packaging. Most filters for common car engines have a diameter of 65–100 mm, while filters for commercial vehicle engines may reach the upper end of the range.
