A one-handed bar clamp with spreader function, fitted with a quick-slide mechanism. The tool can be operated with one hand at a maximum clamping range of 600 mm.
The mechanism lets you set the jaw spacing quickly with one hand, without having to turn the pressure screw. Your other hand stays free to hold the workpiece.
With the upper jaw reversed, the tool works as a spreader over a range of 140-760 mm. A useful function when fitting frames, doors or windows that need to be held apart.
Plastic pads on the jaws protect the surface of the workpiece from scratches and dents during clamping.
This dimension is the distance from the jaw line to the body of the tool. It indicates how far from the edge the clamping point can be positioned when joining components.

Measure the length of the components to be clamped. A clamping range of 0-600 mm means the jaws can be set anywhere from their minimum opening up to 600 mm. When joining components, allow an extra 20-30 mm for the thickness of the protective pads and fitting clearance.
Before starting work, check the condition of the protective pads on the jaws. Damaged or missing pads can damage the surface of the material. During use, avoid exceeding the maximum clamping range – over-extending the mechanism shortens the life of the tool.
After use, clean any glue residue and dirt off the jaws. Lubricate the quick-slide mechanism with machine oil at regular intervals, particularly under intensive use. Store the clamp horizontally with the jaws at their minimum opening, which prevents the springs from deforming.
When changing the clamp from clamping to spreading mode, make sure the upper jaw is correctly seated in the opposite position. Incorrect fitting can cause the jaw to work loose under load.
