A coiled polyethylene air hose designed to supply pneumatic tools with compressed air. The coiled design provides flexibility and automatic retraction to its original position after being extended.
Technical features
Coiled design
The coiled shape of the hose allows it to be extended to its full working length during use and then to retract automatically once work is finished. This eliminates the problem of the hose tangling and makes storage easier.
Threaded swivel fittings
The ends are fitted with a swivel mechanism that prevents the hose from twisting during use. The threaded connection ensures a tight seal and compatibility with standard pneumatic quick-release couplings.
Protective springs
Additional springs at the ends of the hose protect the connection points against excessive bending and mechanical damage. They extend the service life of the hose at the points most prone to wear.
Wide temperature range
An operating range of -40°C to +120°C allows year-round use in workshop conditions, including unheated premises in winter and applications requiring resistance to elevated temperatures.

What the 8 x 12 mm specification means
The first figure (8 mm) is the inner diameter of the hose, which determines the air flow. The second figure (12 mm) is the outer diameter including the wall. The wall thickness is therefore 2 mm, which affects mechanical strength and resistance to working pressure.
Use and maintenance
Before first use, check that the connections are leak-tight and make sure the pressure in the system does not exceed 7 bar. On first use, the coiled hose needs to be fully extended in order to achieve the correct flexibility.
During use, avoid contact between the hose and sharp edges, hot surfaces and chemical substances that could damage the polyethylene. Once work is finished, the hose retracts automatically to its resting position.
Store in a dry place, away from direct sunlight. Periodically check the condition of the protective springs and swivel fittings. If cracks, leaks or a loss of flexibility are noticed, replace the hose with a new one.
