The KD3041 is an electric socket fusion welder designed for joining thermoplastic pipes and fittings — polypropylene (PP), polyethylene (PE) and PVC. The machine simultaneously heats the outside surface of the pipe and the inside surface of the fitting, producing a durable, homogeneous joint without the use of adhesives or seals.
All heating dies are coated with PTFE (Teflon), which prevents molten plastic from sticking to the die surface. This means cleaner joints and easier removal of components after heating, with no risk of deformation.
The heater temperature is set steplessly with a single dial. Straightforward operation shortens the time needed to set the machine up on site and reduces the risk of entering the wrong parameters.
The heating dies heat the outside surface of the pipe and the inside surface of the fitting at the same time. Both joint surfaces therefore reach the correct welding temperature simultaneously, which is a prerequisite for a leak-tight and strong joint.
The machine weighs approximately 3 kg. A case for storage and transport is included, allowing the welder and its full set of dies to be moved safely between sites.

The KD3041 welder is designed for making socket fusion joints between thermoplastic pipes and fittings in the 20–32 mm diameter range. Typical applications include:
Before starting work, select the die that matches the nominal outside diameter of the pipe. The KD3041 takes pipes of 20, 25 and 32 mm — the sizes most commonly used in domestic and small utility installations. Pipes of other diameters require a welder with the appropriate set of dies.
Before first use, read the instruction manual supplied. Connect the machine to a 230 V / 50 Hz mains supply and set the required temperature with the control dial. The heat-up time to working temperature is under 20 minutes. Once welding temperature is reached, push the pipe and the fitting onto the relevant dies at the same time, wait for the heating time recommended for the diameter concerned, then join the components quickly.
After use, clean any plastic residue off the dies once they have cooled — the PTFE coating makes contamination easier to remove. Store the machine in the case supplied, away from moisture and corrosive substances.
