Use and maintenance
Fitting and removal
Push the stopper straight onto the bottle neck, applying even pressure. The flexible collars will adjust to the diameter on their own. To remove it, pull the stopper upwards. Before first use, check the seal by gently squeezing the bottle.
Cleaning
The stopper can be rinsed with water and a mild detergent. After contact with oily substances, a degreaser is recommended. Polypropylene is resistant to most cleaning agents, but prolonged contact with strong oxidisers at high temperatures should be avoided.
Chemical compatibility
PP is resistant to most organic acids, alkalis, alcohols and aqueous salt solutions. Avoid contact with aromatic hydrocarbons, chlorinated solvents and concentrated oxidising acids at temperatures above 60°C. Before use with unknown substances, carry out a compatibility test.
