Spiral mixing paddle with a polypropylene head, designed for mixing paints, adhesives and fine-grained mortars. The galvanised steel shaft and HEX shank make it compatible with drills and cordless screwdrivers.
The spiral shape moves material from the bottom of the container upwards, eliminating sediment and lumps. Polypropylene is chemically resistant to solvents and paint ingredients, which extends the life of the tool.
The teeth on the edge of the mixing head break up clumped material and mix sediment from the bottom of the container. This prevents an uneven consistency, particularly with materials that have been stored for a long time.
The steel core keeps the structure rigid when mixing thick materials. The zinc coating protects against corrosion on contact with water-based materials and ensures durability under intensive use.
The hexagonal shank fits standard drill and cordless screwdriver chucks without the need for additional adaptors. It provides a secure, non-slip connection when working at 400–600 rpm.

An 80 mm diameter works well in containers with a capacity of 5–15 litres. The 500 mm length allows mixing in standard builders' buckets without the risk of splashing material. For larger containers, mixing paddles with a diameter of 100–120 mm are recommended.
Before first use, check that the shank is held securely in the drill. The recommended speed for an 80 mm diameter is 400–600 rpm – higher speeds can cause material to splash and introduce air into the mix.
During mixing, the head should be fully submerged in the material before switching on the tool. Start mixing from the bottom of the container with a slow up-and-down motion, which distributes the ingredients evenly. The serrated edge effectively breaks up sediment at the bottom.
Once work is finished, the mixing paddle must be cleaned immediately. Water-based paints and adhesives are washed off with warm water and detergent. Solvent-based materials are removed with a suitable thinner. Leaving material to dry on the head makes subsequent use more difficult and shortens the life of the tool.
The HEX shank fits hammer drills, cordless screwdrivers and mixing drills fitted with a keyless chuck. Before starting work, make sure the chuck is tightened along the full length of the hexagonal shank.
