When supplied with compressed air at 6-8 bar, the unit generates a grease pressure of 300-400 bar. This multiplication allows grease to be forced into the most heavily loaded bearings and joints without excessive use of the compressor.

Operation and maintenance
Installation requirements
The unit must be connected to a compressed air supply at 6-8 bar. The compressor should provide a stable pressure and be fitted with a filter and water trap — moisture in the air can disrupt the operation of the pneumatic pump.
Grease type
The grease pump is designed for greases with an NLGI 0-2 consistency. Before filling the tank, check that the grease is suitable for high-pressure operation and free from mechanical contaminants.
Maintenance
After use, it is recommended that the system be depressurised by releasing the pressure from the hose. Regularly check the condition of the grease hose and the tightness of the connections. The swivel grease gun should be cleaned periodically to remove grease residue.
