A plug-type pneumatic quick release coupling with a 1/4 inch female thread, designed for fast and safe connection of compressed air system components. It provides a leak-tight joint in workshop and industrial pneumatic systems.
The 1/4" BSP or NPT standard ensures compatibility with most pneumatic tools, compressors and hoses available on the market. Check the thread type of your existing equipment before purchase.
The male part of the coupling works with pneumatic sockets. It allows tools to be connected and disconnected quickly without additional spanners, which speeds up work where accessories are changed frequently.
Manufacture from materials resistant to moisture and corrosion extends the service life of the coupling in workshop environments, where compressed air often contains condensing water vapour.
The design is intended for use in pneumatic systems with standard pressure parameters. Used in automotive workshops, industrial plants and compressed air installations.

The 1/4" thread is made to two standards: BSP (British Standard Pipe), used in Europe, and NPT (National Pipe Thread), used in the USA. Before purchase, verify which standard your existing equipment uses. If in doubt, you can use threaded reducers or seek technical advice.
Before first use, check that the thread is clean and remove any dirt. During assembly, the female thread is screwed onto the matching male-threaded component, using PTFE tape or sealing paste as required by the installation.
Regular maintenance includes checking the connections for leaks and removing contamination from the surface of the coupling. Where the coupling is used in a high-humidity environment, periodic inspection of the material for corrosion is recommended. When replacing or dismantling, protect the thread from mechanical damage.
In pneumatic systems, the use of air filters and water traps is recommended, as this minimises the risk of damage to quick release couplings from moisture and contaminants carried in the compressed air.
