The KD5791 is a pneumatic rustproofing gun designed for applying bitumen underseal, anti-corrosion products and cavity waxes for box sections. The tool works with standard 1 L and 2 L cans fitted with an underseal thread and connects to a compressor through a 1/4" male thread.
Aluminium keeps the weight of the tool low while maintaining resistance to impact and to the chemicals used during rustproofing. A lighter gun reduces fatigue during long working sessions, for example when protecting a vehicle fleet at the start of the season.
The wide trigger face spreads the force across four fingers instead of one. This reduces strain in the hand during continuous use. Flow adjustment lets you match the application rate to the viscosity of the product being sprayed.
The supplied hose, fitted with a brass nozzle, allows the spray to be directed straight into box sections, door sills and underfloor areas — places that standard guns cannot reach without an extension.
The textured grip surface prevents the hand from slipping, even on contact with rustproofing products. This matters when working in protective gloves or with wet hands.

The KD5791 is intended for the pneumatic application of protective products in the automotive and industrial sectors. Typical uses include:
The KD5791 fits 1 L and 2 L cans with an underseal thread. Before buying a rustproofing product, make sure the can has this type of thread — this information is usually given on the label or in the product data sheet. Cans with a different thread, or with no thread at all, require a separate adaptor.
The 1/4" male thread is one of the most common standards in workshop air tools. Connecting the gun requires a quick-release coupling or a hose fitted with a 1/4" female nut. The recommended working pressure should be set according to the requirements of the product being used — too high a pressure can cause excessive atomisation and material waste.
