A tool for mechanical sanding and levelling of polystyrene insulation boards in building thermal insulation systems. The working plate made of 1 mm galvanised steel sheet ensures durability during intensive finishing work.
A thickness of 1 mm keeps the plate rigid while sanding and resistant to deformation. The galvanised coating protects against corrosion when working outdoors in contact with moisture and polystyrene adhesive.
The large format of the sanding plate allows larger areas to be worked in less time. A working plate height of 14 mm allows unevenness to be removed efficiently without sinking too deeply into the material.
The PVC handle, measuring 193x41 mm with a height of 70 mm, provides a stable grip during work. The two-component construction reduces hand fatigue during prolonged sanding.
The tool is designed specifically for working polystyrene insulation boards in ETICS systems. The perforated surface of the plate effectively removes unevenness and prepares the substrate for the adhesive layer.

The tool should be guided in circular or straight movements at an angle of approximately 30-45 degrees to the polystyrene surface. Do not apply excessive pressure – the weight of the tool itself is sufficient for effective sanding. Once the work is finished, remove polystyrene dust with a brush or vacuum cleaner before applying the next layers of the insulation system.
After each use, clean the working surface of any remaining polystyrene and adhesive. The galvanised sheet requires no special maintenance, although storing it in a dry place is recommended. With intensive use, it is worth checking the condition of the handle mounting on the working plate periodically.
