A precision screwdriver with a Pozidrive PZ1 tip and a 400 mm shank, made from SVCM55 tool steel. Designed for inserting and removing Pozidrive screws in hard-to-reach places.
The shank material offers increased hardness and wear resistance. SVCM55 alloy steel retains its mechanical properties even under intensive use, which translates into a longer tool life in workshop conditions.
The extended shank allows work in deep mounting holes, installation recesses and areas with limited access. This length is particularly useful when fitting components in electrical cabinets and equipment enclosures, and during installation work.
The Pozidrive profile transmits torque better than a standard Phillips cross thanks to its additional ribs. The PZ1 size matches 2.5-3.5 mm diameter screws, used in electronics, precision engineering and the fitting of accessories.
The non-slip handle prevents the tool from slipping during use. The handle is shaped to minimise hand fatigue during prolonged use and to allow precise control of tightening torque.

The Pozidrive system (marked PZ) is an improved version of the Phillips cross (PH). It features additional ribs at 45° between the arms of the main cross. This design provides better contact with the screw recess, reduces the risk of the tip slipping and allows greater torque to be transmitted. Pozidrive and Phillips screws are not fully compatible – using the wrong tool will damage the screw recess.
Before starting work, check that the screw has a Pozidrive profile and not a Phillips one – a mismatched tool will damage the recess. Hold the screwdriver perpendicular to the screw surface, applying even pressure along the axis of rotation.
After finishing work, clean the screwdriver shank of any dirt and protect it against corrosion, particularly after contact with moisture. Check the tip regularly for signs of wear – worn ribs on the Pozidrive profile reduce torque transmission and increase the risk of damaging the screw head.
The tool is not designed to be struck with a hammer or used as a lever. The long shank requires careful storage to avoid permanent deformation that could affect working precision.
