English-style construction

Use and maintenance
Preparation before use
Before first use, rinse the bristles in warm water (water-based paints) or thinner (oil-based paints) to remove loose fibres and dust. Shake off the excess liquid gently.
Cleaning after use
Immediately after finishing work, remove excess paint by squeezing the bristles. Wash water-based paints off with warm soapy water and oil-based paints with a suitable solvent. Rinse until the water or solvent remains clean. Hang the brush with the bristles facing down or lay it flat to dry.
Storage
Store in a dry place, protecting the bristles from distortion. Do not leave the brush immersed in paint or solvent – this causes permanent damage to the bristles and the ferrule.
