The KD1187 protective pad is a wearing part designed for C120 plate compactors. Fitted to the machine's base plate, it forms a buffer layer between the steel plate and the surface being compacted — preventing mechanical damage during vibratory compaction.

The pad is designed around the base plate dimensions of C120-class plate compactors. Its 640 × 450 mm dimensions give full coverage of the working surface, eliminating any risk of the steel coming into contact with the compacted material.
5 mm thickness — vibration absorption
The 5 mm layer dampens some of the vibration energy transmitted to the surface. This matters when working on elements sensitive to micro-damage, such as concrete block paving or paving slabs.
Abrasion resistance
The pad material resists the abrasion caused by contact with rough surfaces — gravel chippings, concrete and clay pavers. This translates into a longer service life between replacements.
