PZ2 1/4" 50 mm Screwdriver Bits YATO YT-77884
Professional screwdriver bits with a Pozidriv PZ2 tip, designed for driving and removing screws. Made from S2 tool steel by cold forging, with a milled profile and an anti-corrosion coating.
Technical characteristics of PZ2 bits
S2 tool steel (AISI S2)
Chrome-silicon steel with a high carbon content delivers a hardness of 58-60 HRC and torsional strength. This material resists deformation during intensive work with hard materials and high torque.
Milled profile with sand-blasted finish
The precision-milled Pozidriv profile ensures an accurate fit in the screw recess, minimising the risk of slipping. The sand-blasted finish improves grip and gives better control when driving screws.
Cold forging
The cold forging process densifies the steel structure, increasing mechanical strength and wear resistance. This method eliminates the internal stresses found in stamped bits, extending tool life.
Anti-corrosion coating
The surface protection prevents corrosion and oxidation when working in damp conditions. The coating increases bit durability and keeps working parameters stable over time.

The difference between Pozidriv (PZ) and Phillips (PH)
Pozidriv is an improved version of the Phillips profile, featuring an additional cross at 45 degrees. The PZ system transfers torque more effectively and reduces the risk of the bit slipping out of the screw recess. Pozidriv screws have distinctive lines between the arms of the cross, making them easy to distinguish from Phillips.
Tool compatibility
