Professional cargo strap with a ratchet tensioning mechanism for securing loads during transport. The two-piece design with a ratchet allows the strap to be tensioned precisely and locked firmly in place.

A lashing capacity of 1600 daN (decaneWtons) means loads of up to approx. 160 kg can be secured safely. The breaking strength of 4000 daN provides a 2.5-fold safety margin in line with transport standards, protecting the strap from damage under dynamic loads during braking or when driving over uneven surfaces.
Dimensions and application
The 50 mm width provides an optimal contact area with the load, reducing the risk of damage to the items being transported. The 8-metre length allows luggage with a circumference of up to 7.5 m to be secured once the allowance for the tensioning mechanism is taken into account, which is sufficient for most standard transport applications.
Ratchet tensioning mechanism
The two-piece design with a ratchet mechanism allows the strap to be tensioned gradually without having to hold the tension in place. The ratchet locks the strap in the chosen position, preventing it from slackening during transport. A quick-release system allows the strap to be removed efficiently once the destination is reached.

Use and maintenance

The load should be stable, with no possibility of shifting.
After use, clean the strap of dust and dirt, dry it if it has become damp, and store it in a dry place away from sharp edges. Never overload the strap beyond its lashing capacity of 1600 daN. The ratchet mechanism requires periodic checking and the removal of any dirt.
Safety when securing loads
Run the strap through the load or vehicle anchor points, avoiding sharp edges that could damage the material. When tensioning, stand to the side of the strap, not in its line, in case it suddenly comes loose. Once secured, it is worth checking the tension after driving the first few kilometres.
