The non-slip ratcheting combination spanner is a tool that combines the functions of an open-end and a ring spanner with a ratchet mechanism in a single design. Model YT-0256, size 11 mm, is intended for assembly and service work requiring fast turning of nuts and bolts in confined spaces.
Combining an open-end and a ratcheting ring spanner in a single tool removes the need for two separate spanners. The open end provides access to fasteners in hard-to-reach places, while the ratcheting ring end speeds up work when loosening and tightening nuts, with no need to remove the spanner.
The non-slip technology relies on a special profile on the inside of the ring end, which increases the contact area with the nut. This solution reduces the risk of the spanner slipping off the fastener, which is particularly important when loosening corroded or heavily tightened fasteners.
Chrome vanadium steel is characterised by increased hardness and resistance to mechanical wear. The addition of chromium provides corrosion resistance, which extends the service life of the tool in workshop conditions. Vanadium increases resistance to brittle cracking under impact loads.
The ratchet mechanism allows work with a limited rotation angle – the spanner does not have to be removed after every working stroke. This solution shortens assembly and disassembly times, especially with fasteners that require many turns or are located in tight spaces.

The 11 mm size refers to the size of the nut or bolt head that the spanner works with. Before starting work, make sure that the spanner size matches the dimensions of the fastener – too loose a fit can damage the corners of the nut or bolt.
The spanner should be fitted onto the nut so that it fully engages all corners. Force should be applied clockwise when tightening, or anticlockwise when loosening. Avoid using extension bars that increase leverage, as this can damage the ratchet mechanism or deform the spanner.
After work, clean the spanner of dirt and oil. The ratchet mechanism requires periodic lubrication with machine oil, which ensures smooth operation and protects against corrosion. The tool should be stored in a dry place, preferably in a dedicated tool organiser.
