HEIDMANN H00446 Premium Reciprocating Saw
Reciprocating saw (sabre saw) with rotating handle and LED lighting. A tool designed for cutting wood, plastics and metal in hard-to-reach places and for work that requires variable cutting angles.
Key features
Rotating handle, 90° in both directions
The handle rotates through 90° to the left and right relative to the axis of the tool. This allows horizontal cutting without changing your body position, which improves stability and precision when working in tight spaces or at height.
LED lighting for the work area
Two LEDs fitted in the front of the housing illuminate the cutting line. A useful function when working in rooms with limited light, in distribution boards or under floors.
Variable speed control with soft start
Electronic speed control lets you match the working pace to the hardness of the material. The soft start eliminates the sudden jolt on start-up, which gives greater control over the tool and reduces wear on the drive mechanism.
Tool-free blade changes
The SDS quick-change system allows the blade to be swapped without keys or tools. This saves time when switching between different materials and reduces the risk of losing fastening parts on a building site.

Operation and maintenance
Choosing the right blade for the material
Wood: coarse-tooth blades (6-8 TPI). Metal: fine-tooth blades (18-24 TPI). Plastics: general-purpose blades (10-12 TPI). Changing the blade requires disconnecting the tool from the power supply.
Speed adjustment
Low speed (1,000-1,500 rpm): metal, thick profiles. Medium speed (1,500-2,200 rpm): hardwood, laminates. High speed (2,200-2,800 rpm): softwood, plastics. The variable speed control is located in the tool's trigger.
Protection class II
The class II marking indicates double electrical insulation. The tool does not require earthing and can be safely used with extension leads without an earth pin. Do not modify the tool's electrical system yourself.
