A closed shackle padlock with a shielded hardened steel shackle, designed for locations with higher security requirements. The construction restricts access to the locking element, making it harder to cut with bolt croppers or cutters — unlike conventional open shackle padlocks.

Shielded shackle
The shackle is concealed inside the body, which restricts the ability to grip it with cutting tools. This is the main advantage of a closed shackle design over a conventional open shackle, which remains fully exposed on the outside.
Hardened steel shackle
The 9.5 mm diameter shackle is made from hardened steel and offers high resistance to cutting and deformation. Hardening increases the hardness of the material, raising its resistance to power tools.
Brass body

In a closed shackle padlock the locking element is concealed within the body — access to it is significantly restricted.
