Replacement blades for utility knives, made from SK5 tool steel. The pack contains 10 blades measuring 61 x 33 mm, intended for cutting soft and semi-hard materials in workshop, renovation and construction work.
SK5 is a carbon steel with a carbon content of 0.8–0.9%, characterised by a hardness of 58–62 HRC once hardened. It keeps the cutting edge sharp for a long time and resists wear when cutting fibrous and abrasive materials.
The 61 x 33 mm dimensions are the standard for trapezoid blades used in utility knives. The wide blade face increases cutting stability, and the trapezoid shape allows all four edges to be used by turning the blade.
The bulk pack contains 10 replacement blades, giving long-term use without the need for frequent restocking. An economical solution for regular users of utility knives in the workshop or on site.
The blades fit standard utility knives that take 61 x 33 mm blades. Before buying, check the blade dimensions of your knife – this size is usually given in the technical specification of the knife or on the packaging of the original blades.

Replace the blade when the cutting edge becomes noticeably blunt – this shows as the need to apply more pressure when cutting, and as uneven, ragged edges on the material being cut. On knives with a retractable blade, service life can be extended by turning the blade and using an unused edge.
Change the blade with the blade fully retracted into the knife body. Collect used blades in a rigid, closed container – do not throw them loose into a bin bag. SK5 steel is not suitable for household recycling; take it to a metal collection point.
Store spare blades in the original packaging in a dry place. Moisture can cause surface corrosion of the SK5 carbon steel, which reduces cutting quality. In a workshop environment, storage in a tool cabinet with controlled humidity is recommended.
