KD10069 Right-Angle Drilling and Driving Attachment
The KD10069 is a right-angle attachment that fits to a drill or drill driver and changes the working direction of the tool by 90 degrees. It is used wherever the axis of a standard drill chuck prevents the tool from being handled freely — in tight recesses, close to walls or in awkward, hard-to-reach parts of a structure.
Key features
90° working angle
The right-angle gear head diverts the spindle rotation of the tool by exactly 90 degrees. This makes it possible to drill and drive parallel to the surface against which the tool is held — for example along a wall or floor — without the need for a dedicated right-angle drill.
1/4" hex shank
The standardised 1/4" hex (6.35 mm) socket size ensures compatibility with the bits and bit holders widely available on the market. Before buying, make sure that the spindle of your drill or drill driver accepts accessories with a 1/4" hex shank.
Housing construction
The outer housing is made from a combination of steel and ABS plastic. The steel components provide the mechanical strength of the gearing, while the ABS housing reduces the weight of the attachment and provides thermal insulation during longer periods of use.
Forward and reverse rotation
The attachment transmits rotation in both directions — forward and reverse — in line with the direction selected on the drill or drill driver. This allows fasteners to be both driven and removed without having to take the attachment off.

Compatibility — how to check before fitting
The KD10069 attachment is fitted in the chuck of the drill or drill driver in the same way as a standard 1/4" hex bit or drill bit. The tool must have a quick-change bit holder or a chuck designed to accept a 1/4" hex shank. With drills that have a three-jaw (Jacobs) chuck, the shank of the attachment must first be clamped in the chuck jaws.
