The KD3514 is a hand rivnut tool designed for fitting rivnuts in sizes M3–M12. It is supplied as a complete set — the kit contains threaded mandrels and nose pieces for every supported size along with a mixed rivnut assortment, so work can begin immediately without the need to buy additional accessories.
The set includes nose pieces and mandrels for seven rivnut sizes: M3, M4, M5, M6, M8, M10 and M12. This means a single tool covers both small fastenings in electronics or bodywork and larger structural components requiring an M10 or M12 thread.
Each rivnut size requires a correctly matched threaded mandrel. Tips can be changed quickly, allowing you to move between sizes without interrupting work. The mandrel thread must match the thread of the rivnut being fitted — the set provides full compatibility across all supported sizes.
Each nose piece is stored in a separate container with a colour-coded, labelled lid. The colour system removes the need to check the size before every use and reduces the risk of mixing up tips during workshop use.
The tool is designed for use with steel, aluminium and brass rivnuts. It is suitable for thin-wall profiles and sheet metal as well as for components with thicker walls where a durable threaded insert is required.

A rivnut is a fastener used where a durable internal thread is needed in a material that cannot be accessed from the reverse side — for example in closed profiles, thin sheet metal or finished structures. Once fitted, the rivnut forms a threaded insert into which a bolt can be repeatedly tightened and removed. Before purchase, check that the rivnut thread size matches the intended bolted joint and that the material thickness falls within the clamping range of the rivnut size in question.
