A 200 mm round rasp designed for working solid wood. This hand tool is fitted with a special aggressive tooth pattern and a two-component handle that provides an ergonomic grip during prolonged work.
Technical features of the wood rasp
Round profile for concave surfaces
The round cross-section of the rasp makes it possible to work concave wooden surfaces, shape radii and smooth curves. The geometry of the tool allows work in areas that flat rasps cannot reach.
200 mm working length
The 200 mm length strikes a balance between reach and control over the tool. This dimension allows larger surfaces to be worked without any loss of precision in guiding the rasp, and reduces the number of passes required to level a surface.
Special aggressive tooth pattern

Use and maintenance
Safe working practice
When using the rasp, wear personal protective equipment: safety glasses to protect against flying wood chips and work gloves. Guide the tool along the grain, avoiding work at right angles to the fibres. Before starting work, check the condition of the teeth and that the handle is securely fitted.
Tool maintenance
After use, clean the rasp of wood residue with a wire brush or compressed air. The teeth can be sharpened periodically with a triangular file, maintaining the original tooth angle. Store the tool in a dry place, protecting it from moisture, which causes corrosion of the working surface.
