A fall protection kit consisting of a universal-size safety harness and a 1.8 m rope shock absorber. Certified to the European standards EN 361:2002 and EN 355:2002, designed for professional work at height.
The harness features adjustable chest and thigh straps, allowing it to be fitted to a range of body shapes. The adjustment system enables precise setting of the chest and thigh circumference, which keeps the harness stable during work and distributes the load evenly in the event of a fall arrest.
The 1.8 m shock absorber, fitted with two karabiners, reduces the dynamic force acting on the user's body during a fall arrest. Compliance with EN 355:2002 guarantees that the impact force will not exceed 6 kN, which minimises the risk of internal injury. The 1.8 m length provides a suitable range of movement while maintaining safety.
The rear attachment point, positioned between the shoulder blades, is the primary point for attaching the shock absorber. The dorsal position ensures correct body alignment during a fall arrest and complies with the requirements of EN 361:2002 for safety harnesses.
The construction from 44 mm polyester webbing provides high tensile strength and resistance to weather conditions. The 44 mm width increases the contact area with the body, which improves wearing comfort and reduces pressure on the body during prolonged use.

EN 361:2002 sets out the requirements for safety harnesses used in fall protection systems. Certification to this standard confirms that the harness withstands the static test load and provides the correct arrangement of attachment points. EN 355:2002 covers shock absorbers and specifies a maximum impact force of 6 kN together with minimum requirements for strength and durability.
Before each use, carry out a visual inspection of the harness and shock absorber, checking the condition of the webbing, stitching, buckles and karabiners. Pay particular attention to signs of abrasion, cuts or mechanical damage to the polyester webbing. The shock absorber must be replaced after every fall arrest event, even if no external damage is visible.
Store the safety harness in a dry room, away from heat sources and chemicals. The harness and shock absorber must not be modified. The service life is 5 years from the date of manufacture, provided they are used and stored correctly. Keeping a record card with details of inspections and checks is recommended.
Before starting work, make sure that the available anchor points meet the requirements of EN 795 and can withstand a minimum load of 10 kN. The anchor point should be above the user's working level in order to minimise the free fall distance. When calculating the required safety clearance below the working position, allow for the length of the shock absorber (1.8 m) and its extension during a fall arrest.
