Four-sided sanding block with a P180 grit, designed for hand-smoothing surfaces of various materials. Its flexible structure adapts to the shape of the workpiece.
A P180 grit corresponds to a grain diameter of approximately 82 μm. It is used to smooth surfaces after treatment with coarser grits or to prepare the substrate for a finish. It removes fine scratches and imperfections without removing too much material.
The soft, flexible foam core conforms to curves, edges and irregular shapes. It ensures even pressure distribution during hand sanding, which reduces the risk of over-sanding.
The block is coated with abrasive on all four long sides. Once one side is worn, work can continue with the next, which extends the product's service life and improves cost-effectiveness.
Suitable for working with wood, metal, plastics, paint coatings and fillers. A single block is enough for the different finishing stages of a project.

P180 grit is an intermediate stage in the sanding process. For wood that is to be lacquered, finishing with a P220–P240 grit is recommended. For metal that is to be painted, P180 is sufficient to ensure good coating adhesion.
Before starting work, make sure the surface is free from dust and loose particles. Sand with a motion parallel to the grain on wood, or in a single direction on metal, to avoid visible cross-scratches.
Regularly clean the working surface of the block of accumulated dust by tapping it gently against a hard surface or using a soft-bristled brush. Clogged abrasive grains reduce sanding efficiency and can scratch the material.
When one side is worn, turn the block and continue with the next surface. Store in a dry place, away from moisture, which can weaken the bond between the abrasive and the backing.
