Grit 320 – fine finishing sanding
A grit of 320 (FEPA P320) corresponds to an abrasive grain diameter of around 46 micrometres. It is used in the final stages of preparation to smooth surfaces before painting or lacquering, remove minor imperfections and key coatings.
115 mm x 5 m roll format
The 115 mm width allows sheets to be cut to fit random orbital and orbital sanders. The 5-metre roll can be used many times over, letting you prepare abrasive paper in the required size without waste.

How to choose the right sandpaper grit
Grit 320 belongs to the fine sandpaper group. The higher the number, the finer the grain and the gentler the sanding. Coarser grades 40-120 are used for heavier work, 150-240 for intermediate sanding, and 280-600 for finishing and polishing. P320 paper performs well in the final stages of surface preparation.
Use and care
Sandpaper in a roll should be stored in a dry place, away from moisture, which can weaken the paper backing and reduce the adhesion of the abrasive grain. Before use, cut a sheet to the required length and secure it in the sander clamp or sanding block. While working, regularly clear dust from the surface of the paper – a clogged abrasive loses its effectiveness and can scratch the material.
When sanding lacquers and paints, use even strokes without excessive pressure to avoid sanding through the coating. With wood, sand in the direction of the grain, which prevents cross-grain scratches. Paper that has stopped cutting effectively should be replaced – continued use can damage the surface being worked.
